Welcome to Wilberforce Road Sports Ground, home of Cambridge City Hockey Club.
The last few years have been difficult for many of us, but at CCHC, we have been focusing on helping people get back onto the pitch. That has included organising a number of summer leagues with other local clubs, developing our Youth Section (now well over 400 members between the ages of 10 and 18) and promoting Back-to-Hockey, Walking Hockey and Flyerz. It is fantastic to see so many people playing hockey again!
We are really excited about the coming season. With many players relocating, City will field a new look squad with competitive debuts for half the team, most of whom are new to the club. Preseason has seen some strong performances and we hope that this translates into a fast start this term.
Last season saw the away team winning both games between these 2 sides (0-1 in Cambridge and 1-4 in Solihull), which means we should be in for an exciting match.
