Membership Fees

Senior Membership Options

Senior annual subscription costs for 2024-2025 were agreed by the membership at the AGM on 5 June 2024. Unfortunately, we have had to increase membership fees by 5%. This is in line with inflation & to cover the increased costs, including pitch hire which has increased by 6%, projected for next season.

If you will not be training or available for matches regularly, you might want to check if you qualify for 'Occasional Membership'. This is a great option for senior players who can't/don't want to train and play every week. Occasional members can access Wednesday Club Training sessions and play up to 5 games a season.

Membership fees can also be paid via instalments. Please contact our Treasurer, Rob if you would like to pay by this method:

Youth Membership

Youth annual subscription costs for 2024-2025 were agreed by the membership at the AGM on 5 June 2024. Unfortunately, we have had to increase membership fees by 5%. This is in line with inflation & to cover the increased costs, including pitch hire which has increased by 6%, projected for next season.

There is a tiered approach to membership fees to reflect the number of hours and level of coaching offered.

As a club, we would never want financial reasons to mean that anyone was unable to join our community or play the sport that we all love, and we are aware that costs mount quickly, especially when you have more than one young person playing. If you feel cost might stop your young person playing, please talk to us as we want to help, and have a Bursary Policy which is there to support players in this position (please see the 'Our Fees Explained' tab for more information about eligibility and how to apply).

If you wish to discuss the support available, have any other queries about our subscriptions or match fees, or wish to pay membership fees by instalments, please contact our Treasurer, Rob Harris, via the contact form below.

Goalkeepers who purchase their OWN kit receive a special GK concession rate - please contact our treasurer Rob Harris (contact card above) if this applies to you!

At the moment 'Indoor hockey' is charged separately as not all members participate. This provision is currently being reviewed - please see additional information note under the Fees table.

*Important Additional Information.

The club has just had confirmed (post AGM unfortunately), the offer of access to regular indoor training facilities throughout the season. We are currently looking at how this offer might integrate into our existing training program, or run as a separate indoor program, and the cost implications as indoor hall hire is more expensive. If there is any change to costs or training times we will aim to consult with members as soon as possible.

Match Fees for Youth Fixtures

During the regular season, there is no match fee for U6, U8, U10, and U12 outdoor age group fixtures * which are included in the subsciption cost. U16 and U18 age group players are charged a youth match fee for their age group fixtures.

  • U6 - U12 - No match fees*
  • U14/U16/U18 Age Group Fixture - £7

Youth players who play in our senior sides and in senior hockey fixtures are charged the adult concession match fee rate.

  • Senior Fixture (13+) - £8.80

*match fees will apply to indoor fixtures as they are accessible to a subset of players only

Back to Hockey (Friday Freestylers) Membership

Senior players who just play in our Back to Hockey training sessions pay a 'Back to Hockey Membership'. They then pay for each training session they attend.

  • £32 per annum
  • Training sessions - £6.30 on a 'Pay & Play' basis (no additional cost for Senior Membership holders)

Masters Membership

Senior players who just take part in Masters events and do not attend training or play regularly with our senior league sides, pay a 'Masters Membership'. CCHC is aware that not all clubs field masters teams, or have a team in the right age group. If this is the case at your club, you are very welcome to play as a guest with our teams for the EH Masters Club Championship competitions.

  • £32 per annum
  • Standard senior match fees applies - £13 (Full) or £8.80 (Concession)

*If you are a goalkeeper, student, retired, or seeking employment, you qualify for the 'Concession Rate' for match fees. Please let your captain know, and they can make sure you are charged the correct rate in Teamo.

For information on our individual membership types and costs, please use the sub-menu (on a mobile device this is a drop down on the RHS under the header image)

What does my subscription pay for?

  • EH affiliation fees
  • Training - pitch hire & coaching
  • Equipment - first aid kits, ice packs (many!), balls, bibs, cones etc
  • Competition entries - EHL, East League, Indoor & Cup Competitions
  • Administration costs - DBS checks, Safeguarding Training, First Aid Training...

Why do I need to pay a match fee?

  • Match fees are paid for senior, U14, U16, U18, & Indoor fixtures only
  • Match fees cover the additional costs of pitch hire and coaching for fixtures, mileage costs for away games, and the cost of providing match teas for away teams at home fixtures (for senior fixtures this is a league requirement).

Ways to Pay

If you would like to spread the cost of membership payment, there is the option to pay by instalments. Please contact the Club Treasurer, Rob Harris using the contact form below, if you would like to pay in this way.

Membership invoices can be found in your 'Payments' area in Teamo.

Payment can be made through the App, or via BACS.

Payment through the Teamo App

  • Simple, and involves a few clicks once payment is set up.
  • Payment is taken through Stripe (card payment).

Payment via BACS

  • Players & parents are very welcome to pay via BACS.
  • This is the cheaper option for the club, as no fees are incurred.
  • There is no difference in the cost to the member.

CCHC Bursary Policy & Application Form

As a club, we would never want financial reasons to mean that anyone was unable to join our community or play the sport that we all love. The Club therefore has a Bursary Policy (see below) to support anyone who wishes to play for the club who may not have sufficient financial resources to meet the full cost of club membership. If you wish to discuss the support available, or if you have any other queries about our subscriptions or match fees, please contact our Treasurer, Rob Harris.
