Everybody is welcome to register for our Summer Hockey!
CCHC has an active program of summer hockey. Sessions are fun & informal with a great atmosphere. This season we hope to run a regular play and pay session again on one weekday night, plus tournaments on another. Watch this space for details - should be announced soon!
All sessions are open to non-members, you just need to register on our player platform on Teamo (see below). All summer hockey is at Wilberforce Road Sports Ground.
Traditional Summer Hockey
It's relaxed, social hockey with some basic rules - no hitting, no aerials, no being overly competetive.
Wednesdays in April and Tuesdays from May onwards (19:00 - 20:30) at Wilberforce Road. Check the App!!
Book and pay on Teamo, bring one light and one dark coloured top, turn up and play.
Pub after (18+) for those who fancy it 🥳
Tournaments (Thursdays)
Open to everyone 13+, all teams will be mixed gender and ability.
Not ideal for beginners, but suitable for everyone else. We will be running a similar format to last year, starting with a mixed 7-a-side league/tournament. We will then move on to a mixed 11-a-side league/tournament (separate sign-up form will be published closer to the time).
All on a Thursday.

Don't worry if you miss some weeks, we will be allocating squad sizes to cater for this.
Team colours will be allocated once we've sorted out the squads, and squads/fixtures will be managed in Teamo.

Non members, including junior players, are welcome to take part in summer hockey at CCHC. If you would like to participate in our Summer Hockey programme, please use the following link to register with the CCHC player platform on Teamo.
You will be asked to select a 'Club Section/Team' - please select 'Summer Hockey 2024 - new adult registration', or if you are a parent registering a young person, 'Summer Hockey 2024 - new junior registration'.
Our admins try to approve new registrations within 24 hours. The club will be then be in touch with further information about sessions & how to book/pay.
For new Junior Summer Hockey Players who are aged 13 and over we will be in touch to confirm which of our sessions you hope to attend. If you wish to take part in our senior mixed sessions on Tuesdays & Thursdays we may need to ask about your hockey experience and to check that it is ok for you to play with senior players.
