Summer Hockey

Every Thursday from 14th May until the end of July.

Everybody is welcome 🥳

We will start with a mixed 7-a-side tournament starting on Thursday May 14th.

This will be followed by a mixed 11-a-side tournament.

Timings will be approx 7pm - 8:30pm for all sessions but this may flex, so do check in Teamo for details.

All sessions are open to non-members, you just need to register on our player platform on Teamo (see below) & then fill in the sign up form (link below when it goes live).

We hope to run all our summer hockey is at Wilberforce Road Sports Ground, but may use St Catz as an overflow pitch if the 11-a-side proves very popular.

7-a-side (mixed)

• cost TBC but was £18 per player for the 6 weeks last season.
• Open to everyone 13+.
• Teams are mixed sex and ability.
• Not ideal for beginners, but suitable for everyone else.

11-a-side (mixed)

• cost TBC but players pay a summer match fee, this was £7.50 (Full) or £5.50 (Concession) last year.
• Open to everyone 13+.
• Teams are mixed sex and ability.
• No beginners, but suitable for anyone else.
• Junior players NEW to senior hockey, please e aware we may need to double check with your age group coach that they are happy for you to participate.

Rhi has kindly agreed to run the tournaments this year.

You can enter a team with friends or give us your details and we will assign you a team to play with.

Don't worry if you miss some weeks, we will be allocating squad sizes to cater for this. Team colours will be allocated once we've sorted out the squads, and squads/fixtures will be managed in Teamo.

Players must be on Teamo (see below).

Non members, including junior players, are welcome to take part in summer hockey at CCHC.

Please use the following link to register with the CCHC player platform on Teamo.

You will be asked to select a 'Club Section/Team' - please select 'Summer Hockey - new adult registration', or if you are a parent registering a young person, 'Summer Hockey - new junior registration'.

Our admins try to approve new registrations within 24 hours. The club will be then be in touch with further information about sessions & how to book/pay.

For new Junior Summer Hockey Players who are aged 13 and over we will be in touch to confirm which of our sessions you hope to attend. If you have not played senior hockey before, we may need to ask about your hockey experience and to check that it is ok for you to play with senior players.
