U12 Boys with a fantastic 4th at Nationals!

Great excitement as the boys met on Sunday morning with a full day of hockey ahead of them.

The first game was the much-anticipated clash with Surbiton. With our first goal scored within the first minute, it was fast and furious for the duration. Surbiton won 6-4 (Ollie W, Jonnie [2], Toby), but what an amazing performance from all of the CCHC team.

Next was the match vs Clifton Robinsons which our boys won 3-1 (Ollie W, Hugo, Jonnie).

Game 3 was vs Neston, who had been struggling in the tournament so far, but they put up their best fight of the day against us. CCHC eventually came out on top in another goal-filled game that ended 5-4 to city (Hugo, Ollie W, Henry, Toby, Jonnie).

CCHC finished 2^nd in the group behind Surbiton. Into the 3^rd-4^th play off vs Guildford. Starting well, and 2-0 up at half time, the boys ran out of steam in the second half. The game finished 6-3 to Guildford (Jonnie, Ollie W, Toby).

Amazing to finish 4^th place in the country!

There were brilliant performances and 100% effort from all the boys all day. Strength in midfield, excellent passing and teamwork, gritty defending, and incredible goalkeeping from Ollie R. And leadership from the captain Zach.
