CCHC Community Lottery

JOIN THE CCHC COMMUNITY LOTTERY

Every ticket in the CCHC Community Lottery gives you a monthly chance to win — and helps fund Cambridge City Hockey Club (CCHC) at the same time.

Here's what you need to know:

  • Price — £5 per entry, per monthly draw. Buy as many entries as you like.
  • Age — you must be 18 or over to join. That's CCHC's own club policy.
  • Draw date — the first Saturday of every month. Entries open 1 September 2026, and the first draw takes place on Saturday 3 October 2026.
  • Payment — standing order (our preference) or a one-off BACS transfer. We're not able to take cash, cheque, card, or PayPal.
  • Registered with — Cambridge City Council (registration CAMLOT 000240), to promote small society lotteries under the Gambling Act 2005, Schedule 11.

MORE MEMBERS = BIGGER PRIZES

Every prize is a percentage of that month's pot — so the more members who join, the bigger every prize becomes.

1st Prize — 20% of the monthly pot

2nd Prize — 10% of the monthly pot

3rd Prize — 5% of the monthly pot

That's 35% of the pot in prizes every month. The remaining 65% goes straight towards Cambridge City Hockey Club's running costs — so every entry does two jobs at once: it's your monthly shot at winning, and it funds the club.

  • If you're not satisfied, you can ask for it to be escalated to the CCHC committee.
