Welcome to Wilberforce Road Sports Ground, home of Cambridge City Hockey Club.   

The last few years have been difficult for many of us, but at CCHC, we have been focusing on helping people get back onto the pitch. That has included organising a number of summer leagues with other local clubs, developing our Youth Section (now well over 450 members between the ages of 4 and 18) and promoting Back-to-Hockey, Walking Hockey and Flyerz. It is fantastic to see so many people playing hockey again!

After a close loss to league leaders Cardiff in a 7-goal thriller last week, City saw themselves slide down the table. Instead of being joint second and one point behind their opponents this week, Cambridge are now sitting in 5^th on goal difference and 6 points off top spot.  

Loughborough, on the other hand, would go to the top of the table (for 20hrs at least) with a win. Given that they have not won by more than 1 goal in their last 3 matches and dropped points to Olton in their last away game, this could prove to be a close and exciting game.
