Welcome to Wilberforce Road Sports Ground, home of Cambridge City Hockey Club.
The last few years have been difficult for many of us, but at CCHC, we have been focusing on helping people get back onto the pitch. That has included organising a number of summer leagues with other local clubs, developing our Youth Section (now well over 450 members between the ages of 4 and 18) and promoting Back-to-Hockey, Walking Hockey and Flyerz. It is fantastic to see so many people playing hockey again!
Coming off the back of two wins, City will be looking to continue their good run of form and capitalise on their first Saturday home match of the season. Deeside may only have one point from their first 3 games, but they have proven that they can score goals against good teams.
Last season City edged a 9 goal thriller in Cheshire before a 2-2- draw at Wilberforce Road, so if form is anything to go by, we can expect lots of goals and a close contest.
