You are a national league standard player who has a winning mindset. You understand the need to work as a team and support your team mates. You understand that team cohesion and bond, is one of the most important aspects of a performance team. You have a willingness to learn, and to share knowledge. You want to lift up others, as they lift you. 

Who we are

CCHC Men’s 1st XI have enjoyed national league status for a decade. The men currently play in England Hockey Division 1 North, the second tier of domestic hockey, and England Hockey Division One for indoor, the second tier of indoor domestic hockey. The performance squads train twice a week. The squad is a close group who are keen to deliver on pitch and enjoy one another’s company. This is a team, not a group of players out for themselves. 

The club has a history of producing international standard talent with representatives in the current GB and home nations senior, EDP and NAGs set ups. We expect to have 1,000 members in the 2022/23 season across the adult and youth sections. We support our performance squads with a highly qualified and experienced Strength & Conditioning Coach.

The club was recently awarded a Talent Academy license by England Hockey. We enjoy excellent facilities at Wilberforce Road, benefitting from access to three high quality pitches, a meeting room and well equipped club house.
