All U6, U8, U10, U12, U14 & U16 members are invited to renew membership with the club for 2024-25.
To do so, payment is required

Renew by 15 July 2024 to guarantee a space
As some of you will be aware we now have a waiting list for many of our age groups. Existing members will have priority until 15 July. However, after this date we will offer outstanding spaces to players on the waiting list & we can no longer guarantee we will have a space available should you subsequently decide to renew. The age groups in which there is particular pressure are our U8s (mixed), U10 Girls, U12 Girls, and both our U14 Girls and U14 Boys.
After 15 July you will no longer have the option to renew automatically as we will need to check if we still have a space, so please email Message CCHC Youth Section
Fees
Information about membership costs for 2024-25 can be found on the website here. Child 1 who pays the FULL rate is always the oldest child, child 2 the second oldest, and so on. Membership is capped at £52 for any subsequent children.
Training
At the moment the plan is that training will look broadly like it did last year, and provisional training times can be found on our website here.
However, the club has just received confirmation of the offer of access to regular indoor training facilities throughout the season. We are currently looking at how this offer might integrate into our existing training program, or alternatively, run as a separate indoor program. If the former, this may change the way we organise our U12 midweek sessions. If there is any potential change to membership costs or training times we will aim to consult with members as soon as possible.

Parents are also very welcome to pay by instalments (the fee is split into 4 payments). Please contact our treasurer Rob Harris @ camcityhctreasurer@gmail.com if you would like to use this option and he can arrange this for you.

Teamo will ask parents to update/review the registration questions, and to re-read and re-sign the club declarations on their child's behalf.

Dear U18 Players & parents
Just a quick note to say that membership renewal for 2024-25 is now open and to let you have our updated information sheet about playing senior hockey (see below)
Hopefully you will have received our email at the start of June explaining how U18 hockey works. Regular provision is delivered as part of adult training & players will be advised which team training sessions to attend. Regular competitive play is provided by Senior Saturday league hockey.
Specific U18 squad training dates will be arranged in preparation for England Hockey fixtures. We expect there to be only a small number of EH competition matches over the season (number depending on success), but we also hope to organise friendlies with other clubs who have U18 teams and are within a reasonable traveling distance from Cambridge. We also hope to enter U18 girls and boys teams in indoor competitions.

The senior schedule for this season is being finalised. Last season’s timetable is can be found on our website here. We'll be in touch and update information here and on the website as soon as that is finalised
Important Dates/Events
August to early September - Preseason training & fixtures. In general the ‘elite’ teams will start earlier. Whether you are already integrated into our senior teams (enthusiastic coaches and captains may have already sent out comms!) or new to senior hockey, we plan to be in touch later in the summer with information on where you will be invited to train initially. Pre-season is a great time for captains to get to know you in a less competitive environment.
U18 age group pre season training:
21 September 2024 – East league fixtures start for most teams (TBC when schedule published)
20 October 2024 – Round 1 of the T1 EH Club Champs
10 November 2024 – Round 2 of the T1 EH Club Champs (or Plate if a loss in round 1)
01 December 2024 – U18 Girls EH Indoor Super6s (East Round)
08 December 2024 – U18 Boys EH Indoor Super6s (East Round)
* Please be advised, EH competition dates are set on the centralised calendar, but in our experience are often changed by organisers
How to Pay
Please choose the U18 Membership 2024/25 option.
For most players membership is £189, but if your child is playing with our higher teams (women's 1-3 and M1-2) please select the 'Elite' option which is £225. This reflects the extra coaching opportunities available.
There is no early payment deadline as for younger age groups (although it is always much appreciated by our treasurer Rob), but payment is required to be made by the start of preseason training.
