East Prem Women's Coaches x2

Cambridge City Hockey Club, one of the leading clubs in the East of England, is seeking two coaches to lead our women’s 2nd XI and women’s 3rd XI teams. These are two separate roles, advertised together, with both teams competing in the East Premier Division. 

  • Target is promotion for 2s, top 5 for 3s
  • 2s train twice a week
  • 3s train once a week
  • Match day attendance
  • Renumeration available
  • Level 2 or equivalent


Men's Club Session Coach

The successful candidate will deliver a combined session for the Mens 3rd, 4th and 5th XI teams.

  • One session on a Wednesday evening
  • Ability to coach across a variety of skills and experience essential
  • Comfortable coaching both adults & juniors
  • Level 2 or equivalent
  • Renumeration available


Friday Freestylers (Back to Hockey)

CCHC is looking for a coach for our Friday Freestylers session. This is essentially “Back to Hockey”.

  • Friday mornings, 9:30-10:45 at Wilberforce Road.
  • Typically aged 35-70
  • Men & Women
  • Play some friendlies but no obligation to be present
  • Level 2 or equivalent
  • Job share with established coach
  • renumeration available

We have 2 types of roles. 'Executive Committee' roles are more strategic with greater responsibility, accountability and commitment to regular meetings. 'Operational Committee' roles are lighter touch, smaller roles that require less commitment and time but really help the club move day-to-day.

Media & Comms Lead

  • Liaise with local press and set media strategy overall
  • Manage the individual social media account managers (Instagram, Twitter/X, Tik Tok, and Facebook)
  • Work with sponsors as required
  • Responsible for compliance with England Hockey Safeguarding Policy & the CCHC Social Media Policy
  • Basic safeguarding training, England Hockey Safeguarding Awareness Module, is required for the role

  • Work with the womens representative to maintain our status as the most sociable club in Cambridge

  • Fundraising Officer - Generate funds for the club through initiatives such as raffles, selling non-Y1 Kit, CCHC Lottery etc.
  • Social Media/Web Support > Instagram Officer - Day to day operation of Instagram
  • Social Media/Web Support > Twitter / X Officer - Day to day operation of Twitter
  • Social Media/Web Support > TikTok Officer - Launch and day to day operation of TikTok
  • Kit Secretary - Liaise with Y1 for official club kit, manage and track playing numbers, stewardship of the shed
  • Ball Patrol Officer - Coordinate Ball Patrol (4-6 people) for 1st XI games, this can be juniors or seniors doing the ball patrol
  • Catering Officer - Liaise with caterers to ensure match teas are arranged and any dietary requirements are met
  • Tour Secretary - Spreading the good word of CCHC on our shores and beyond
  • Youth Umpire Liaison Officer - working with the overall ULO to ensure youth games have umpires
