Nottingham's Highfield Sports Ground plays host to a major hockey tournament.
There are three events taking place, the main event is the Women's Champions Trophy. There is also a Men's 4 Nations Invitational series and a Masters event supporting the tournament.
The Champions Trophy is an event where the top six teams in the world compete every two years. England hosted the 2007 EuroHockey Nations Championships and did such a good job that they have been awarded the 2010 Champions Trophy event. See facebook event for more info. |
